Analogue Lines (ana)
POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) an analogue line is the
cheapest line to rent from a supplier, they are associated with one telephone
number.

Auxiliary Lines (aux)
Are POTS lines but are associated with a main line number, if the main line
is busy the the exchange will send the call down the auxiliary line. You can
have as many auxiliary lines as you want.

ISDN 2e Line (bri)
ISDN 2e lines are digital lines, they are sold as a circuit which is
equivalent to two analogue lines

Very flexible

DDI (Direct dial index)
telephone numbers to anyone line.

ordering ISDN lines, they have 3
different price tariffs.

If you think you
might need 4 ISDN lines it would be
better to order ISDN30 lines.

Very flexible

You can assign as
many

VOIP Trunks
A VoIP trunk gateway is an interface that facilitates the use
of plain old telephone service (POTS)
equipment, such as conventional phone sets and fax machines, with a voice over
IP (VoIP) network.
ISDN 2e lines are digital lines, they are sold as a circuit which is
equivalent to two analogue lines you can have as many circuits connected to a
telephone system as you want. although ISDN30 would be cheaper above 5 circuits.
An ISDN 2e line has a primary number associated to it but you can also assign
DDI numbers to it, or MSN numbers. Both of these are ghost numbers that can be
travel down the primary pipe.
